Important Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten Registration Information


To be eligible for Kindergarten, a child must be five years old on or before September 1, 2019. To be eligibe for Transitional Kindergarten, a child must turn five years old between September 2 and December 2, 2019. The folowing documents must be provided at the time of registration:

1. Updated Immunization records

2. Original county birth certificate

3. Proof of residence (current utility bill, telephone bill, mortgage payment or rental agreement that shows property address)

4. Completed registration packet

5. Oral health assessment form

Kinder 8:00am-2:20pm Grades 1st-5th 8:00am-2:40pm

Fridays are minimums days

Kinder 8:00am-12:10pm. Grades 1st-5th. 8:00am-12:30pm

  • DECA will be serving FREE breakfast AND lunch to all students 18 years of age and younger.

For safety purposes ALL visitors, including parents, must immediately proceed to the office to sign in and receive a visitor’s pass before entering campus. Classroom visits must be prearranged with the classroom teacher prior to arrival. All visitors must sign out in the office upon departure. The visitor policy has been established to protect students and staff from the danger of an unauthorized person on campus.

Students are to refrain from communicating with, and are required to report, any person who attempts to communicate with them if they do not have a visitor’s badge. When arriving on campus all visitors should immediately report to the office to sign in a receive a visitor's badge. When signing in you are required to write your name, date, time in and destination. When leaving you are required to report to the office to sign out and record the time out. Any visit to campus during the school day requires a visitor's badge. Events include but are not limited to weekly classroom helpers, classroom and/playground observers, field trip chaperones, class presentations, and assemblies. Thank you for helping keep our students safe!

Volunteers & Chaperones

Parent volunteers and chaperones are sometimes needed to accompany students on field trips and to assist in classrooms. Please contact your child’s teacher if you would like to be a classroom volunteer and/or field trip chaperone. All parent volunteers/chaperones must be cleared through the volunteer application process. Volunteer applications can be picked up in the office. The application and all necessary accompanying documents must be turned in two weeks prior to volunteering/chaperoning in order for the application to be processed and applicant cleared.
